About the Event
COVID-19 has impacted all our lives. MRF's support for young composers has been designed to go ahead NO MATTER WHAT, moving on-line for the first time.
Festival 2021 features:
3 premieres for Saxophones & Electronics, by MRF award-holders and composer-mentors, with Sam Bullard - saxophones.
7 premieres by MRF Alumni, written for combinations of instruments within the Composer Collective: violin, viola, bass clarinet, trombones, piano & voice.
Judith Weir CBE, MRF Patron, in conversation with the composers.
MRF award-holders are: Samby Anderson & Pernille Faye.
